The zoomable map allows watertable aquifer groundwater level monitoring bores across the SIR to be identified and reviewed. A graph showing groundwater levels in the watertable aquifer over the last 10 years will appear by clicking on a bore. Salinity risks increase when groundwater levels are generally within 2 meters of ground surface (0 m). To raise awareness into potential salinity risks, landholders are encouraged to identify and regularly check groundwater levels in bores near their properties.
